Reality Show
Imagine a world where all the professions are carried out by robots. All? No. As robots aren’t capable of hurting people, only two professions remain for human beings: policeman and soldiers. These "militaro-cops" are covered with cameras allowing millions of tele-viewers with nothing better to do than to follow their investigations -- but only if they have taken out a subscription.
Norman K. Barron leads a small team of investigators, always in on the most spectacular cases. He is 40 years old, physically attractive and financially well off with plenty of the luxurious things to show for it (that includes a gorgeous wife). The only problem, these cameras are omnipresent. Barron is not subjected to this espionage twenty four hours a day: he manages to have time free from surveillance during which he can let loose and express his real self.
The truth is that Barron and his wife haven’t been in love with each other for a long time but they have to make believe they are -- at least three times a week… to raise the audience ratings.
Be that as it may, Barron finds himself confronted with an uncommon enemy: a "rebel" robot, which wants to escape its cybernetic condition and discover human sensibility. And to do that, it kills and sows terror, transforming himself into a sort of vampire with artificial intelligence but with the ability to kill that is very human…
