Our group with several publishers such as Dargaud, Dupuis, Le Lombard, Kana, Lucky Comics is the indisputable leader of the European comics and graphic novels market. Comics, manga, graphic novels…, all styles can be found on the French European market. But the traditional graphic novel (“Bande dessinée”) represents the major part of this market.

For more than 10 years in a row, the sales have been constantly growing with a record growth of 9,5% in 2004 ( sources : Ipsos survey 2005) Over 40 millions in French language were sold in 2004. On the top 50 best-selling titles in 2004, 20 titles were published by the Group.

- Blake and Mortimer 17– Les Sarcophages du 6ème Continent - 450 000 copies sold
- XIII T16- Opération Monte-Christo - 400 000 copies sold

New titles of the classics series such as LUCKY LUKE, XIII, BOULE ET BILL, BLAKE & MORTIMER, BLUEBERRY, THORGAL regularly sell between 200.000 and 600.000 copies. And it is with great pleasure that we have seen new series of the 21st century reaching a growing audience, over 100.000 copies per title, such as BLACKSAD, ALDEBARAN, IR$, ALPHA and Le CHAT DU RABBIN from the successful Poisson Pilote collection.
